IUMA combines several courses in order to offer a more appropriate preparation to operate underwater efficiently. IUMA Diving Skills courses are divided into five types of activities.
Cinematography&Videography – is a practical and in-depth training course where students can gain knowledge and skills in preparation for work in underwater environments.
Underwater Search and Recovery Tasks – the course objective aims to train divers in the search and rescue of casualties of water-accidents and perform search and recovery of items and equipment.
Underwater Inspection – provides a complete preparation about the structural inspections of bridges, ports including other underwater structures and hull vessels. The diver will be trained to perform field inspection, inspections report and documentation.
Industrial Diving – the course includes the use of the SSD (Surface Supplied Diving) system such as the diving helmet. During the training, procedures and techniques are taught to perform several underwater tasks. This is an orientation and introduction course to commercial diving.
Underwater Accidents Scene Investigations – the course aims to train the diver to carry out the accident investigation process to determine the root causes of accidents.
