First Aid At Sea
This first aid at sea course is suitable for anyone involved in water activities or remote tasks such as SCUBA Divers, SCUBA Diving Leaders, diving centres personnel, water sport instructors, etc. It includes common first aid treatments, oxygen administration, AED use, BLS. This course can be delivered by Training Partner – Medical who are regularly working in the first aid environment as instructors or technicians. It is largely organized outdoors and includes several scenarios. This course is taught by Diver Medics with at least 2 years of experience, doctors, nurses who have emergency experience in aquatic environments. Trainers and Instructors involved in teaching will be required to attend a free 5 day IUMA Learning to Teach course with ITD.
