IUMA Policy

IUMA is an educational system, designed by Professional Diving Instructors, Health and Safety Trainers and Professionals, Commercial Divers, BDD who are in charge of control the management and coordination of the IUMA Educational System

IUMA KI Tehno provides its partners with procedures and techniques to create and offer courses to their customers.

Underwater Courses
Courses

The courses are mainly created by Health and Safety Trainers and Instructors including Health and Safety Manager and Supervisor with extensive knowledge and experience in the various sectors of diving. The courses are available free of charge for partners, carried out in several languages.

Training centres and diving schools wishing to teach IUMA Educational System courses must be approved by IUMA KI Tehno through a Training Approval ProcessIUMA KI Tehno Training Partners become partners for free, no annual fee is required. The Training Partner will only have to pay for the Audit Certificate once.

The IUMA Training Partners will be assisted by ITD (IUMA Training Division) Professionals during the online training course. The ITD Professionals is made up of technicians who work externally to IUMA.

Multimedia files and other content
The files used in IUMA are in the public domain, granted under Creative Commons (CC) licenses, or similar, or granted by their respective owners. Where possible IUMA KI Tehno reports the sources and owners of the works, in compliance with the agreements or licenses of the files. No contents or multimedia files containing infamy, incitements to hatred and discrimination or that harm the dignity of others will be published. 

Treatment of personal data
Owner and manager
The owner and manager of the processing is IUMA KI Tehno Executive as manager of IUMA.

Collection, storage and use of data
The only way in which IUMA KI Tehno comes into possession of users’ personal data is through the contact form or by direct contact by the interested party via e-mail including the Training Approval Process; the data will be processed exclusively by electronic means. The personal data received are kept by IUMA KI Tehno for as long as necessary to manage and respond to requests sent via the contact forms and/or the e-mail address on the site and evaluate the skills and knowledge to be part of the IUMA KI Tehno partners.
If the requests made lead to the development of any project or agreement and Partnership, IUMA KI Tehno will keep the data for the entire duration of the project or for the time necessary to conclude the agreed activities.
The personal data required are minimal and necessary to guarantee IUMA KI Tehno that the user is a real entity (person, company, organization, etc.).

Consequences of non-communication of data
The user’s decision to contact IUMA KI Tehno is free and informed; if the user does not provide the minimum data necessary to ensure that he is a real person, IUMA KI Tehno reserves the right to interrupt the communication and delete any data provided.

Data accessibility and assignment
The acquired data are accessible only to the executive of IUMA KI Tehno and to the BDD. IUMA KI Tehno will not disclose the acquired data to third parties.
The acquired data is protected by an SSL connection and the data transmission is encrypted. The data is transferred and stored in the servers in a secure way and protected by a private key in the possession of the staff of IUMA KI Tehno

User rights
The GDPR guarantees the user the right to know what personal data IUMA KI Tehno holds, request its modification, correction or integration; request that their data will be deleted; oppose the use of the processing of their personal data in the event of particular situations that affect them; withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
